Located in central Utah, approximately 1.5 hours south of Salt Lake City and near I-15 at an elevation of 5,100 feet, Yuba State Park is a hub for outdoor activities centered around its large reservoir. At full capacity, the reservoir stretches 22 miles long and reaches depths of 80 feet, supporting a variety of water sports including boating, jet skiing, water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, swimming, and fishing. Notable fish species include northern pike, tiger muskie, wiper, perch, walleye, and rainbow trout.

Additional Activities:
Beyond water sports, visitors can engage in rock hounding, zip-lining, mountain biking, and hiking. The park is also suitable for off-highway vehicles (OHV), with trails varying from easy to challenging. During exploration, visitors may encounter historical sites like Indian petroglyphs and are encouraged to respect these cultural artifacts. Wildlife such as deer, bald eagles, coyotes, and rabbits can be spotted in the area.

Amenities and Camping:
Yuba State Park offers several developed campgrounds including Oasis (at the main entrance on the west side), Painted Rocks, and Eagle View on the east side, featuring amenities like tent pads, power, water, covered pavilions, picnic tables, fire pits, and barbecue areas. Oasis Campground, in particular, provides flushing restrooms with showers, a dump station, boat launch, loading dock, and group site. It also has mature trees for shade. Primitive camping options are available at North Beach and West Beach with pit toilets.

Accessibility:
The park is pet-friendly, requiring dogs to be leashed. Visitors are advised to adhere to 'leave no trace' principles. Essential supplies can be sourced from Nephi, a nearby city 30 minutes north. Reservations for campsites are recommended and can be made online.
